Prodigy Research

Legal

Privacy Policy.

Effective September 24, 2026

Prodigy Research Corporation, a Delaware corporation (“Prodigy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the website at prodigy.markets (the “Site”). Prodigy is an AI research lab focused on quantitative finance. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the Site or contact us, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

This policy applies only to the Site. It does not cover information collected under separate written agreements, such as investment, employment, or commercial agreements, which are governed by their own terms.

In short

The Site has no accounts. We use Alphie, a website visitor engagement tool, to understand how the Site is used, to identify the company or organization a visitor is associated with (United States visitors only), and to provide an AI chat assistant. Beyond that, the personal information we collect is what you choose to send us through the contact form, the chat assistant, or by email, and we use it to reply to you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to train AI models.

1. Information we collect

The Site uses an AI chat assistant, provided by Alphie, that you can use to ask us questions and to book a meeting.

Information you provide directly. When you use the contact form on the Site or email us, we collect the information you choose to share: your name, email address, company or organization (optional), and the contents of your message. You may also provide information in any follow-up correspondence with us. When you use the AI chat assistant, we collect the messages you type and, if you book a meeting through it, the details you enter to schedule the meeting.

Information collected automatically. The Site is a static website served through Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare automatically receives technical information about your request, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the pages you request, the referring URL, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to deliver the Site and to protect it against abuse. Alphie, a website visitor engagement tool we use, also records how visitors use the Site: pages viewed, time on page, clicks, scroll depth, referrer and UTM parameters, device, browser and operating system, timezone, and approximate location.

Company-level identification.For visitors in the United States only, Alphie uses third-party identity-resolution providers to infer the company or organization a visitor is associated with, based on the visitor’s IP address. This does not identify you as an individual. Raw IP addresses are processed by those providers and are not retained by Alphie. The identified company may be enriched with public firmographic data such as industry, size, and location. Visitors outside the United States are not identified in this way.

What we don’t collect. The Site has no user accounts, passwords, or payment functionality. We do not collect precise location data, and other than the company-level identification described above, we do not obtain information about you from third parties. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we ask that you not include it in your messages or chats with us.

2. Cookies and tracking

The Site loads a JavaScript script from Alphie, our website visitor engagement provider. The script records the site activity described in Section 1 and stores a session identifier in your browser so that your visit stays connected as you move between pages. We do not use advertising networks. Cloudflare, which serves the Site, may set strictly necessary cookies or perform automated security checks (for example, to distinguish people from bots) in order to protect the Site. Cloudflare’s cookies are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Global Privacy Control. Alphie honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals automatically, and visitors whose browsers send a GPC signal are not identified. We do not sell or share personal information.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you, including through the AI chat assistant;
  • Schedule meetings that you book through the assistant;
  • Evaluate potential business, investment, research, or employment relationships that you ask us about;
  • Understand how visitors use the Site;
  • Identify which companies or organizations visit the Site (United States visitors only);
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights; and
  • Protect the safety, security, and integrity of the Site, our business, and others.

AI chat assistant. Messages you type into the chat assistant are processed by Alphie and by third-party AI model providers to generate replies. Our team may receive summaries of chat conversations in Slack and may join a chat live to respond to you.

AI model training. We do not use information submitted through the Site to train, fine-tune, or evaluate AI models, and we do not use it for advertising. Chat content is processed by Alphie and its AI model providers only on our behalf and is not used to train AI models.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We rely on the following service providers, which process information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Each provider’s name links to its privacy policy.

ProviderWhat they do for us

Alphie uses its own sub-processors, including identity-resolution providers and AI model providers, to deliver these services. Alphie does not sell personal information.

We may also share personal information:

  • With professional advisors, such as our lawyers and accountants, where necessary for them to provide services to us;
  • For legal and safety reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others;
  • In a business transfer, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets; and
  • With your direction or consent.

6. Data retention

We keep contact inquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain any ongoing relationship, and afterwards only as needed for legitimate business or legal purposes such as record-keeping and dispute resolution. If you ask us to delete your inquiry, we will do so unless we are required to keep it. Technical log data is retained by Cloudflare for a limited period in accordance with its policies; we do not keep separate copies of these logs.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored there and in other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including serving the Site over HTTPS. Because the Site has no accounts, there are no passwords or credentials for us to store. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to our processing, to receive a portable copy, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us at founders@prodigy.markets. We aim to respond to all requests within 30 days and free of charge. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California residents.Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. In the past twelve months we have collected the categories of information described in Section 1 (identifiers; professional information, including the company or organization we infer you are associated with; the contents of your communications, including chat messages; internet or other network activity information, such as pages viewed and interactions with the Site; and approximate geolocation), obtained directly from you, from your device, or from Alphie’s identity-resolution providers, for the purposes described in Section 3, and disclosed them only to the service providers described in Section 5. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information other than as permitted by law. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice on the Site.

13. Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact Prodigy Research Corporation at founders@prodigy.markets. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
